Your QIDI printer, run by your AI.
Ask ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, Cursor, Gemini, Grok or any MCP agent for a part. Kiln designs it, checks it will print, and runs it on your QIDI over your own network.
What your agent can do with your QIDI
Every model over your network
QIDI printers run Klipper, and Kiln connects through Moonraker, the connection they already have.
Watches with the built-in camera
On models with a camera, your agent can look in while the print runs.
Tuned for your exact model
Every model below has a print profile tuned for it, so your agent never starts from generic settings.
Kiln knows each machine’s real limits, material by material. Ask your agent before you buy a spool.
Find your QIDI
Each one has its own page.
Don’t see yours? Most Klipper and OctoPrint machines work too. See every supported printer.
Setting it up
Kiln runs on a computer on the same network as your printer. Most QIDI printers let it in without an API key; if yours asks for one, Kiln takes it.
Free and Pro run one printer at a time; you can own several and switch between them. To run several at once, see Kiln for print farms.
Questions
Do I need QIDI’s app or cloud?
No. Kiln talks to the printer on your own network.
Will it print without asking me?
No. Kiln shows you the model, then waits for your yes before every print. You can say yes for the next two hours or the rest of the day so it stops asking for a while, and you can turn on auto-print yourself. Auto-print is off unless you turn it on.
Which AI apps does it work with?
ChatGPT, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini, Grok, or any app that speaks MCP. On chatgpt.com, claude.ai, gemini.google.com and grok.com, the Kiln connector designs, checks and prices parts; to run your own printer, install Kiln on the computer next to it.
